The goal of this site is to show you the results of CMU research into how Algebra 1 students problem solve, as well as to show you how other teachers are approaching the same problems. This website is intended to be an interactive information source. Its purpose is to share all the recent, interesting findings so you are armed with the most complete understanding of your students’ thought processes and problem solving techniques.
